Senior Full-Stack Engineer
About the role
You are the first engineer on a new venture. You take the idea from the partner team, build the first version alone, and stay with it until the company has its own team. Then you do it again with the next venture. You will ship two or three products a year, each one small, each one live.
What you will do
- Build web products end to end: database, API, and interface.
- Choose the stack for each venture and defend the choice.
- Run the deploys, the logs, and the on-call for what you ship.
- Hand the codebase to the venture team with docs they can read.
- Review the code of the other studio engineers.
Must-haves
- Six or more years building production web applications.
- TypeScript, React, and Node.js in daily use.
- You designed and ran a Postgres schema in production.
- You shipped a product from an empty repository to real users.
- You can work in Switzerland without sponsorship.
Nice-to-haves
- You worked in a startup with fewer than ten people.
- Experience with an EVM chain or an LLM API.
- French.
