Product Designer
About the role
You are the only designer in the studio. You design the first screens of every venture, and you decide what a new product looks like before anyone writes the code. Web3 products are hard to use; your job is to make ours boring to use.
What you will do
- Design product flows, from the first sketch to the built screens.
- Build one small design system per venture, in Figma and in code tokens.
- Run five user tests per month and change the design from what you see.
- Design the marketing site for each venture at launch.
- Sit with the engineers while they build, and fix the details there.
Must-haves
- Three or more years designing software products, not agencies work only.
- A portfolio with two shipped products you can talk through screen by screen.
- Figma at a professional level, including components and variables.
- You wrote or edited HTML and CSS to check your own designs.
- English at a working level; you will write copy.
Nice-to-haves
- You designed a wallet, an exchange, or another on-chain flow.
- Motion design or illustration.
- French.
