Agile Delivery Coach / Scrum Master Lead
About the role
Our Valencia hub holds the engineering teams of four ventures, about seventy people. Each team works a different way, and the ventures that grow fastest are the ones that lose their delivery habits first. You are the person who fixes that, team by team.
This is a coaching role, not an engineering management role. You will not own a codebase or an architecture. You own how the teams work: the cadence, the flow, the safety in the room, and the promises the teams can keep. The work is in Valencia; we do not ask you to move or to travel to Madrid.
What you will do
- Coach six to eight teams as Scrum Master and Agile coach.
- Take one venture from ad-hoc delivery to a cadence it chose itself.
- Make sprint and release predictability a number, then improve it.
- Run retrospectives where people say the real thing, and act on it.
- Train the studio's team leads to coach without you.
- Set up a light Agile practice across the hub, not a process police.
Must-haves
- Ten or more years across project management, product ownership, and Agile delivery, with at least five as Scrum Master, Scrum Master Lead, or Agile coach.
- You led a Waterfall-to-Agile transformation of more than 100 people and can say what changed.
- Scrum and Kanban in daily practice, plus one scaling framework: SAFe or LeSS.
- Delivery numbers you moved yourself: cycle time, sprint predictability, release frequency, or production incidents.
- You work from servant leadership and psychological safety, not command and control, and you can give an example.
- English and Spanish at a fluent or native level, and you live in Valencia.
Nice-to-haves
- German.
- A software engineering or product background before you became a coach.
- Experience in an engineering manager or head of Agile practice role.
- You use generative AI tools to speed up your own work and teach teams to do the same.
